Immanuel Lutheran School

Middle School Religion

Students in Middle School Religion are currently focusing on God’s gift of work.  The students, of course, did not see work as a gift when we started talking about it.  Now, though, the students have realized that God has given us the ability to perform duties for ourselves and we should do it in a way that gives thanks to Jesus who did the work that we could not do, die for our sins.  We are also discussing ways you can work for the church as a career.  We will have special visits during the week from church workers and Concordia College to help students learn more about what church workers do and the programs to help them prepare for a life of service to God.
